643 – Dalia arrives and is defeated – a strange being from an alternate dimension who was not in the physical realm at all appeared over the Monan Ocean in a large orb of energy – she began to affect the wildlife and civilians of Mona – a strange act of love in the form of a sacrifice for another destroyed Dalia completely, leaving behind only a mere residue floating above the ocean

642 – The “Grand Zephyr” Event – an airship battle utilizing Zarack’s first air fleet and Merxenne’s grandest weapon yet, the Horseman, which was hijacked by several renegades led by Marcus Knight – the Horseman self-destructed in the midst of the Zarackian fleet, destroying half of them – over 1,200 Zarackians died in the explosion, but countless were saved by the renegades
642 – Retsuo is flooded and its people are relocated – due to the influence of Marcus Knight and his group of renegades, several dozen Retsuo survived and were able to move north to the Unknown Continent
642 – The Shantellona Uprising / signing of the ZS Treaty – a large-scale battle between the Zarackian military and the Shantellona forces; Dae Nara’s infamous betrayal of the military ended the battle with the death of General Wulcrass – a renegade band led by Marcus Knight helped the Shantellonans to sustain minimal casualties in the battle
640 – Sekhmet is defeated by Marcus, Ezekiel, and the Terran Sages / Marcus is killed then resurrected

284 – Operation: Crimson Skies successful – Zarackian President killed in confusion – a surprise attack from Merxenne airships on Derrande gave the Zarackian civilians quite a shock – the Zarackian President was killed by a Zarackian mage who would later be executed for treason when in reality the mage was preparing a summon that could have ended the assault on Zarack – over 6,000 Zarackians were killed
284 – Operation: Firestorm failed – Merxenne attempted to prepare long-ranged missiles in southern Merxenne, but launching was delayed indefinitely when Wallas Volcas erupted and destroyed every since Merxenne installation in the area – several hundred Merxenne were killed
281 – Operation: Swallowtail successful – two Merxenne naval battalions defeated – utilizing the summons known as Sod and Onu, two skilled mages flew over a Merxenne fleet and drilled holes in the hulls of the ships, sinking them in Merxenne waters; this area of water would later be known as the Graveyard of Onu
279 – Operation: Quicksand failed – Zarackian forces infiltrated southern Merxenne only to be forced back by natural means; quicksand and sand worms decimated the group and sent the survivors skittering back to Zarack
275 – Operation: Overgrowth successful – Zarackian city of Mektow destroyed – Merxenne troops used the great forest to the east of Plefterre as cover to quietly infiltrate the city of Mektow and completely wipe it off the map before retreating to Merxenne – the Zarackians never knew the Merxenne forces were there

246 – Largest battle in the Zarack-Merxenne War: Battle of Fallen Angels – over 175,000 Merxenne lives taken; over 150,000 Zarackian lives taken – took place in northern Zarack, between Plefterre and Nalexis (the former site of trench warfare); an aerial invasion of Merxenne airships came in from the east over the mountains on the eastern border of Zarack – Zarackian mages shot down several airships, but bombing still ensued; meanwhile several sea transports docked on the rough coasts of the Zarackian western coast and many Merxenne knights entered by foot to slay the mages – a large backup force from the south (Carmenn Fort) was able to push back the footsoldiers but not before several of the defending mages were taken out; the airships continued to bombard the battlefield and only when the summon Cryos appeared by a very skilled mage known as the Thunderflame did the Merxenne retreat

224 – Operation: Quicksilver failed – Zarackian plan backfires to kill over fifty Zarackian spies inside Veiniste – rumors of construction of Merxenne airships triggers infiltration by Zarackian spies into warehouses that were rigged by the Merxenne military to explode when the mainframes inside were tampered with – 6 separate warehouses were rigged in this way
